Deadline to Order:

Hot lunch ordering closes the Friday before at 11:59PM. Please note that occasionally the deadline might be on a Thursday if hot lunch is running on a Thursday due to a holiday or Pro-D Day that Friday.

Absent Students:

If your child is absent on a hot lunch day, you can choose to donate their lunch or have it held in the PAC fridge for pickup. Please email hotlunch.nootkapac@gmail.com before 10:00am on the hot lunch day with your preference. If we don’t hear from you, the lunch will be donated.

Field Trips:

If your child’s class is on a field trip, their hot lunch orders will be placed in the PAC fridge (at the back of the staff room, by the metal shelves). Lunches will be distributed when the class returns to school. If needed, lunches can also be picked up directly from the PAC fridge

Utensils:

Please remember to send utensils with your child for their hot lunch. This helps us reduce waste.

Volunteers Needed!

Hot Lunch is run entirely by parent volunteers, and we’d love your help! Volunteers are needed to help sort and distribute lunches on hot lunch days (Fridays – or Thursdays if Friday is a Pro-D Day). Even if you can only spare a short amount of time, your help makes a big difference.

Interested in Volunteering?

Please join us in the activity room every Friday at 11:15am to help out and/or email our hot lunch coordinator at hotlunch.nootkapac@gmail.com for more info!

Please also consider donating, as donations go towards providing meals for students in need.

The PAC is pleased to run our Sun-Oka Apples fundraiser again this year! We have partnered up with an Okanagan orchard, Sun-Oka Fruit Farm, to sell their delicious farm-fresh apples. These aren’t the ordinary apples you’re used to getting in the grocery stores. This family farm has won all kinds of awards for their fruit including the prize for growing the best apples in Canada for 8 years straight! These are the highest quality apples available anywhere.

And because we’re sourcing them directly from the farm, you get to buy them at below grocery store prices! You’ll get the best apples you’ve ever eaten and save some money. Plus, with each box sold we’ll raise $8-10! Woohoo!! The funds we raise are so important for providing additional school resources that will enrich and enhance our kids’ academic, physical, and social growth.

Here are the details:

•  There are 2 apple varieties to choose from: Ambrosia and Honeycrisp.
•  Apples come in 10lb boxes. Each box has 16-24 apples (dependent on fruit size).
•  No taxes on fresh fruit!

Please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family nearby. Apples are the most popular fruit in Canada, so it’s highly likely that you have many apple lovers in your life! All you need to do is share the link via email or text message. It’s sweet and simple, and only takes a couple minutes of your time.

BONUS! If you create your own seller account, you can earn a discount when you purchase your own apples!

• Get 2 buyers and save $2 off each box you purchase
• Get 5 buyers and save $4 off each box you purchase
• Get 10+ buyers and save $6 off each box you purchase

*ORDERING DEADLINE: Tuesday, October 6th at midnight*

Pick up details:

Apples will be delivered Monday, Oct 26th and distributed to your student’s classroom by 2:30PM. If you are unable to pick up your apples that day, please email nootkapacfundraising@gmail.com in advance to coordinate a pick up time.

Play Street,
